Something to remember
Dream of daisies all dancing on toesies
they'll dance from their roots with the radiant rosies
watch them confront me with smiles on their stems
I'll grin gayly back but turn my heels to them

Untitled
Sarah slammed her brakes at the sight of a sobbing boy standing in the middle of the barren road, directly in the path of her Stationwagon. It was lucky that she had thrown her foot down when she did too, for if a moment of hesitation had indeed occurred, it would have the boy completely pancaked with his bodily fluids spilling all over like syrup. Sarah shuddered; that was not an image that she fancied being stuck in her head.
She slowly opened the door, feeling that the situation was so delicate that any abrupt action would leave it completely shattered. She stepped out of the car and walked towards the boy, careful not to take her eyes off him for one second. He looked to be about seventeen. He was dressed in _______ with a facial fatigue that seemed to scream "________."

Summer Day

Stave 1
Out in the field tomatoes lick my face
spreading seed-speckled slobber all over my cheek.
I'm all goofy grins as I lay in the field
carried into the day by the babbling creek.
Stave 2
Jumping at rocks it makes kind ker-splashes
over at the bend it gurgles as it turns right.
Spacing to splishes my thoughts turn to you
and I lay hypnotized till day turns to night.
Stave 3
Adrift in a concept my knitted brow
ponders painstakingly a possibility.
But blissful days like today are too rare
too agonize over a probability.
Stave 4
Dawn breaks like a hole in a starlit wall.
I open my crusted eyes on the droplets of dew.
I get up groggily, and head towards home
sailing, satisfied and sound, in a sea called blue.

Loving these lyrics, Jeff Mangum has my heart.
Two headed boy
All floating in glass
The sun it has passed
Now it's blacker than black
I can hear as you tap on your jar
I am listening to hear where you are
I am listening to hear where you are
Two headed boy
Put on sunday shoes
And dance round the room to accordion keys
With the needle that sings in your heart
Catching signals that sound in the dark
Catching signals that sound in the dark
We will take off our clothes
And they'll be placing fingers through the notches in your spine
And when all is breaking everything that you could keep inside
Now your eyes ain't moving now
They just lay there in their climb
Two headed boy
With pulleys and weights
Creating a radio played just for two
In the parlor with a moon across her face
And through the music he sweetly displays
Silver speakers that sparkle all day
Made for his lover who's floating and choking with her hands across her face
And in the dark we will take off our clothes
And they'll be placing fingers through the notches in your spine
And when all is breaking everything that you could keep inside
Now your eyes ain't moving now
They just lay there in their climb
Two headed boy
There is no reason to grieve
The world that you need is wrapped in gold silver sleeves
Left beneath Christmas trees in the snow
And I will take you and leave you alone
Watching spirals of white softly flow
Over your eyelids and all you did
Will wait until the point when you let go

An Unsatisfied Girl In The Restricting Town
Her broom is a pendulum lazily swaying
Ghost cities slumber vacantly in her dull eys
The disinterested sweeps of the broom pulls up dirt
Justifying each sad sweep with unbelieved lies
Oh my dear brother in my dreams she is flowing
Her smoothe arms are so gassy they fill up my room
She's one with the walls with the floor and with the air
I don't want to wake up she's free from all the gloom
Her eyes meet the sunset: The start and the finish
The end of one mundane day the start of one more
Her broom falls to the ground it's job is done for the day
She misses her bed instead in tears on the floor.

Green Flying Pigs Ruin Lives
Poor little child not a bird nor a bee
Your heart is lost in some strange sour sea
You're flying through life with a frown on your face
Wishing it would stop it seems like a race
To get to the end filled with worms, cold and clay
Alone in the dirt there's no one who'd pray
For a death more than life, your life is so dense
Flailing fear from your neutral fence
Mom and dad knew of it but nothing was done
Those green flying pigs just wouldn't succumb
Moms yells at dad and he's yelling right back
He yells so hard that his own soul attacks
In a place once thought pure, meant only for birds
It clenched him so hard that he fell without words
You were right there with salt in your jeans
He gasped out his air and tears licked this scene
Poor little child not a bird nor a bee
Kids point and laugh at you dead in your sea
You're wanting to be like one with the crowd
A bird or a bee, not some confused shrowd
Of desire and grief both painful and stuck
I will pray with you for some sound stroke of luck
And in the end you could be something the same
With one doctor's soft your life will be tame
Now my dear let's go s sailing into the deep
I know there's something a wailing in your creep
I see your arms they are a flailing, into the ground
I know you hate to go a sailing, you might drown.
